SGO Favorite Recipe

Protein Balls
Recipe provided by Laura Mendenhall, Kansas Wildlife Federation

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut (sometimes I like to toast it in a dry skillet before adding)

  • 1/2 cup natural PB

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • Handful dark chocolate chips

  • Optional: ground flax

 

After you mix it all together, put in fridge for like an hour then pull out, roll into balls. I make a big batch and freeze for weeks on end. Sometimes I use cacao nibs instead of choco chips.
